Your Coach

Why Self-leadership Matters to Curt

Curt pursued self-leadership because he needed it. He had a strong desire to be impactful in life and leadership but repeatedly found himself not following through on what mattered most to him.

Over time, as he read books, took courses, listened to podcasts, and received coaching, he developed practices to match good intentions and began to move from frustration to action, then to confidence.

Where Coaching and Self-Leadership Meet

Coaching stirs up new awareness, the realization that we have choices, and the self-trust necessary to take action. The result is that we move from where we are to where we want to be. This happens over time through a series of conversations in the context of a relationship of trust. It is a specific process where the coach co-creates with the client the space needed to pursue what matters most to the client.

Coaching aligns with Curt’s personal mission to push back against the lack of clarity and momentum in the lives of leaders, believing that with coaching they can overcome inertia and break through to new effectiveness in leading themselves and others well.

Curt is an Adler Trained Coach www.adler.ca and ascribes to the International Coaching Federation’s Standards of Ethical Conduct.
